Meet Angel - a 3 year old German Shepherd who truly lives up to her heavenly name.

Angel is the kind of girl who floats rather than walks and gazes at you like you personally hung the moon. Calm, quiet and oh-so-affectionate, she's the definition of a gentle soul. If you're looking for a steady shadow who will happily lean into you for a cuddle, Angel is ready to report for duty.

But don't let her serene nature fool you - this lovely lady is clever. Angel is smart, attentive and eager to keep building on her already beautiful manners. She would absolutely thrive with a family who enjoys teaching new skills, polishing old ones and celebrating those good girl! moments. Training time? Angel says yes please.

Angel prefers the peaceful life, so she would be best suited to a home with older children who can match her calm energy. She may even enjoy sharing her space with another well-mannered, relaxed dog who appreciates the quiet life as much as she does.

While she hasn't met any cats with us at the shelter, Angel is a bright cookie. With thoughtful introductions and guidance, we believe she could learn to live cohesively alongside a feline friend.
