About Lexy
LEXY – Devoted, Dainty & Full of Love 🐾
Dachshund | Born 22 April 2023
Weight: 6.4 kg
Lexy is a very pretty little Dachshund girl with a sweet temperament and an enormous capacity for love. Desexed on 2 March 2026, she is ready to find her forever home.
This cuddly, snuggly girl forms deep bonds with her humans. She quickly fell in love with her foster mum and now follows her around the house like a devoted little shadow. At night, Lexy tucks herself in close, happiest when she is snuggled up beside her person.
When her foster mum heads off to attend to other ARK duties, Lexy whimpers from the other side of the door to express her disappointment — and when mum returns, her tail works overtime with pure delight.
Dachshunds are affectionate, loyal and surprisingly brave for their size. Originally bred to hunt burrowing animals, they are clever, alert and full of personality. Most importantly, they are true companion dogs who thrive on closeness and inclusion in family life.
Lexy is dog-friendly but untested with cats. She is a well socialised and happy little soul. She behaved beautifully at the groomers — where her photos were taken — and won plenty of hearts with her gentle nature and cooperative manner.
House-trained, lead-trained and eager to please, this little sweetheart is clever and highly trainable.
🏡 Her ideal home will offer:
• Secure fencing
• Indoor living as part of the family
• Someone home much of the time
• A loving, stable environment
• An understanding of the Dachshund breed and its companion nature
Lexy is very much a people-focused little dog and will not suit an outdoor-only lifestyle. She needs a home where she can be cherished, included and allowed to snuggle to her heart’s content.
If you’re looking for a loyal little companion who will adore you wholeheartedly, Lexy may be the perfect match.
