š¾ Personality:
Boss is a gentle soul who takes a little time to get to know new people, but once he does, he is incredibly loyal and affectionate. He has made great progress with his confidence since coming into foster care. He has even been to cafĆ©s and happily sat by his fosterās side, calmly interacting with people nearby. On walks he prefers a lead free adventure making him ideal for a property that offers companion walks and decent fencing. Boss enjoys the company of other dogs and would love a canine friend in his new home, though it is not essential.
š Training:
Boss is a free spirit and flops down on whichever dog bed or piece of furniture is available at the time. He has all the his basic commands and would benefit from ongoing reinforcement of rules otherwise he might get a bit Bossy. When being requested to do things he generally responds well with patience and consistency. Boss has shown he is a smart and willing learner. With time he will grow into a beautifully well-mannered companion for his adopter provided they put time into teaching him what they want.
š Perfect Home:
Boss will thrive in a moderately calm household with older children (12+), an active retired person or couple, or someone working from home who can give him the reassurance and company he loves. He would ideally love some space to stretch his legs, so a larger block or acreage would be perfect, and he has proven to be good around cats and is friends with his foster carers other dog. If his adopter has another female dog that would be a bonus, but he will be just as happy being the centre of attention.
Boss is a big boy with a cuddle bug personality who is seeking a home who will exercise him, give him cuddles and rub his belly at rest times.

~I will also need flea and worm treatments to keep me at my
optimum health, are you prepared for that?
~I've had a diet since being at the rescue of quality biscuits, can you guarantee to continue my current diet?
~ I am a good 10-20 years commitment are you 100% ready to
give me a home?
If initial approval given...
~A yard check or photographic proof of secure fencing, shelter & sleeping areas will be required.
~Written agreement is required by your landlord/real estate for rental properties. A rates notice is required for homeowners.
~A vet reference may be required.
