Buddy

First things first… Buddy is the BEST boy. And honestly, that’s the most important thing about this long, lanky, lovable giant

At just 7 months old, this Wolfhound x Great Dane is already VERY large… but nobody told Buddy that He is absolutely convinced he’s chihuahua-sized and will squeeze himself into the tiniest spaces possible.

On the bed?
Between you on the couch?
Half on top of you but pretending it counts as “fitting”?

Buddy lives by the motto: “If I sit, I fit.” Even if “fit” actually means sitting directly on you.

This sweet, gentle giant is a total cuddle bug who just wants to be near his people. He’s settling beautifully into his life and thinks it’s the best thing ever. When told to go outside for a wee break, he sometimes sits very still and looks the other way — as if you simply can’t see him

The good news?

No accidents inside
Sleeps through the night in his own bed
Happy to chill outside with his foster sister

And speaking of his foster sister… Buddy is OBSESSED They wrestle, zoom, chase and share the sweetest little kisses. He would absolutely thrive in a home with another playful dog to show him the ropes and help guide him while he’s still growing into those giant paws.

Buddy already knows how to sit, and we’re working on sitting and waiting politely for meals. While he waits, he’ll gently give you his paw to hold… such a gentleman
As the big baby he is, Buddy will need ongoing training to help him reach his full potential — but with his loving nature and eagerness to please, he’s going to make someone an incredible companion.

He’s had a clean bill of health from the vet and is more than ready to find his forever family
