About Paddle Pop
*In foster care in Waverley, Sydney*
Paddlepop is our quiet, sensible girl. She is not one to give her affection away to just anyone, and definitely needs to make sure you are worthy before she reveals her sweet and cuddly side.
Paddlepop is a quiet observer and can take some time to warm to you, but once she does she is a very sweet and gentle girl, and while she isn't always busting down the door for cuddles, she definitely has a deep love for those she grows to trust. If you're after a cat who will make you work for it, but reward you heavily for your efforts, Paddlepop is your girl!
Paddlepop may just be a little kitten but she already has an infallible internal clock! Her and her siblings have a special eating spot in their foster home and she runs to it and waits there like clockwork whenever she knows it's time for a meal. Although her clock runs precisely to the second, she is a patient girl and will understand if you're a little late!
Like all Maggie’s pets, Paddle Pop is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: Paddlepop would be best suited to a home with someone who has cat experience, and who is willing to put in the time to reap the rewards of her affection. She takes some time to feel confident in new environments and with new people so needs someone sympathetic to this.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: Medium, Paddelpop is very calm and sleepy during the day, spending her time lazing around or doing some quiet exploring, but she comes alive in the evenings and really enjoys a good zoom and a play to end her day.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Paddlepop is a sensitive girl who can take some time to feel comfortable in her surroundings and with her people, because of this she would not be suitable for a family with young children as she likes a calmer pace and more predictability in her life.
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: Paddlepop has been living with 4 dog and 3 cat foster siblings, she is comfortable around all of them for the most part, but does get spooked when the dogs make a sudden movement or bark, so would be best suited to dogs who are older and calmer, or who have experience being around cats and don't find them too exciting. She is neutral to all the cats in the house, apart from her brother Icy Pole who she loves and takes comfort in.

We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
