About Opal
OPAL – Little Lady with a Big Heart 🐾
Miniature Dachshund | Born 19 January 2026
Available from 16 March 2026
Opal is a beautiful tri-colour Mini Dachshund girl — black and tan with sweet little touches of white on her chest and back feet. She’s as pretty as her name suggests and has a cuddly, people-focused nature to match.
Miniature Dachshunds may be small in stature, but they are bold, intelligent and full of character. Originally bred as determined little hunters, today they are cherished companion dogs who form very strong bonds with their families. They thrive on closeness and inclusion and are happiest when living indoors as part of the household.
Opal is affectionate, inquisitive and loves being near her humans. She is very much a companion dog and will not suit an outdoor-only lifestyle — indoor privileges are essential for this little girl.
🩺 Health & Vaccination
• First C3 vaccination on 2 March 2026
• Further vaccinations due 2 April and 2 May 2026
🏡 Her Ideal Home Will Offer:
• Secure, safe fencing
• Someone home most of the time
• A loving, stable environment
• Commitment to keeping her as an indoor family member
Opal is offered under the terms of our Deferred Desexing Program, which requires that she not be bred from and that she be desexed when age appropriate. Desexing is included in her adoption fee, subject to terms and conditions.
If you’re looking for a devoted little shadow with plenty of personality wrapped up in a petite package, Opal may be your perfect match.
