About Mittens
Say hello to Mittens! This sweet girl has blossomed beautifully during his time with us. When she first arrived, she preferred to keep to herself and watch the world from a safe distance. Now, she's gaining confidence each day and letting her charming, playful side peek through.
Mittens is a sensitive soul who builds trust slowly, but once you're in her circle, you'll see just how endearing she truly is. She can't resist a good wand toy session and is always more courageous when tasty snacks are on the menu!
She'll do best in a calm home that can offer consistency and a quiet space to decompress as she settles in. A friendly, self-assured cat buddy would be a wonderful role model for her. Because of her gentle and cautious nature, Mittens would be happiest in an adults-only home, or one with cat-savvy teens.
Give her the time she needs, and Mittens will grow into a devoted, entertaining little shadow who's always nearby. Patience and kindness go a long way with Mittens, and she'll reward you with loyal companionship.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
