HEY!! OH HEY! HELLOOO!!!

I’m Himema.

I’m told I’m very sweet. Like… “awwwwww” sweet.

Strangers meet me and suddenly their voices go up three octaves. I don’t make the rules.

I might be a tiny bit shy when we first meet — just for a minute while I figure you out. Then I’ll give you my soft eyes, maybe a gentle lean, and boom. You’re roped in. It’s kind of my superpower.

My hobbies include:

• Playing with other dogs (I LOVE them. Truly.)
• Sitting directly on your lap
• Getting all the attention in the world
• Cuddling so close we are basically one being

I don’t have a huge amount of formal training yet, but I’m learning! I’ve figured out how not to get too over-excited when it’s training time — which is very mature of me, I think. I’m not a cheeky troublemaker, just a young life loving girl still learning how the world works. With a bit of guidance and consistency, I’m going to be amazing.

If I don’t have a dog sibling at home, I’ll need regular playdates because social time is very important to me. If I do have a sibling, my humans will need to help me keep working on sharing attention — I just love my people so much that sometimes at home I want them all to myself. I’m trying, okay?

If I have any young human siblings, they should be used to dogs because I’m all about the love and don’t want to be too much for them!

They was I’m a Heeler mix but the only herding I do is herding you to the couch for a cuddle! I can however go on 2-3 hour adventures and as soon as I'm back home, I want to continue playing with the other dogs in my foster home!

I’m toilet trained (very classy, I know) and ready for my forever home.

I find hoses scary but I do enjoy a splash in the paddle pool.

I think I’d make a wonderful family dog if you’re looking for a playful shadow who will follow you around, love you fiercely, and fit perfectly in your lap… I volunteer. 💛

Just please make sure my yard is secure. If I discover a secret escape hole, I’ll assume it’s an invitation to come looking for you.
