Smokey

Hey, lily made an update on smokey, here it is -
Meet Smokey — the cheeky, playful, smiley girl with those famous excited Staffy jumps that nobody can stay mad at for long.

I’ve been in care for a few months now watching so many doggy and feline friends find their forever homes, and my foster mum says she hopes it’ll finally be my turn soon too.

My foster mum describes me as one of the most beautiful and loving girls she’s ever met. At heart, I’m simply looking for an inside/outside home where I can be part of the family. When my humans are home, I’ll happily snuggle beside you on the couch, follow you around the house, and soak up all the love and attention I can get. When everyone’s busy, I’m just as happy stretching out in the sunshine for a nap outside.

I can bark a little if I’m left outside for too long, but only because I like reminding my humans, “Hey, don’t forget about me out here!”

I’ve lived with children of all ages and have always been gentle and loving. I get along wonderfully with other animals too, including my foster mum’s female German Shepherd cross, dachshunds I absolutely adored, and feline friends of all ages. I’m a very submissive girl and have never shown any signs of dominance toward male or female dogs in care.

I’m toilet trained, know basic commands, and would thrive with a family willing to continue my training and help me grow into the best version of myself. I’m also a big fan of biscuits and wet food and have never been a picky eater.

Most of all, I’m just a sweet girl looking for a forever family to love with my whole heart.-

All animals are health checked, vaccinated, worm/flea treated, microchipped, desexed and registered with Gladstone Council.
They are socialised in the homes of loving foster carers, not in cages or kennels. (See our website to join the team)
