Beautiful Arlo Is looking for an experienced border collie person who understands how to raise a train a young adolescent pup. Arlo will melt your heart with his head tilting cuteness. But don’t let his teddy bear good looks fool you - his model-like appearance hides his super smart brain. What Arlo really needs is a strong but patient and understanding person. Someone who has raised and trained border collies before. 

Arlo is a great traveller and will lay down and sleep when making car trips to adventures. He’s very well toilet trained and sleeps through the night in the house. He loves playing with likeminded dogs and would benefit from a good role model dog in his new home.

Arlo can try to be scary by showing his teeth if he is asked to do things when he would prefer not to. This is based in being uncertain at times so Arlo needs a confident owner that will give him clear direction and leadership. When challenged in these moments he gives way to knowledgeable handlers.

Arlo’s coat needs consistent maintenance so his new person would need to bath and brush him regularly.

Mostly Arlo is just a big puppy who is just bursting to meet his new person.

Our adoption process includes a two week trial period to ensure you and your adopted pet are the right fit. Successful applicants will be contacted for an interview and a property inspection (as it is vital we rehome our animals to a safe, secure and suitable home).

The adoption fee of $700 assists to cover the costs of desexing, microchip, microchip ownership transfer, flea and worm treatment, vaccinations, and vet check.
