Twig is a tall, athletic young Staghound mix weighing approximately 30kg. He is a confident and affectionate dog who forms a strong bond with his people.

He is well-mannered in the home and enjoys being close to his family. Twig is obedient and eager to please. He knows how to sit and wait calmly for his food, walks beautifully on leash (loose lead and close to your side), and is fully toilet trained.

He confidently uses the doggy door and settles well indoors.

Twig is good with children of all ages and has a gentle, affectionate nature around them.

He currently lives with two female dogs (one adult and one puppy) and coexists very well with them. He is social and comfortable with female dogs.

Twig does have some leash reactivity which will need continued training. For this reason, we are looking for a committed and confident owner willing to continue guiding him in this area. He may suit a home with female dogs or as an only dog.

As a young lad, Twig is medium energy and thrives with regular exercise, structure, and space to move. He would be best suited to a home with a secure yard where he can run and stretch his legs.

A secure yard with fencing of at least 6ft is required, as Twig is an excellent jumper.

Experienced dog owners preferred.

Twig is not only a beautiful and athletic dog, but also deeply affectionate and loyal. He is looking for a home that can offer him structure, space, and love in equal measure.
