About Asher
Asher is a lovely 23-year-old Standardbred mare is searching for a calm, caring home to enjoy her well-earned retirement years.
She is an absolute pleasure to handle, with a gentle nature and excellent manners on the ground. She's a great doer with feed, maintains her condition easily. With her excellent health, she has many happy years still ahead of her.
She would make a wonderful paddock companion and truly thrives on attention - scratches, chats over the fence, she will take it all.
If you're looking for a low-maintenance, affectionate mare to share your paddock and your heart, she could be the perfect match.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
