About Marty
Hiya! I'm Marty!
I'm a very sweet and friendly boy! My gorgeous personality will be sure to bring lots of fun to my furever home!
Like with most rabbits, I will I need a patient, understanding and gentle home to help me feel comfortable in my new surroundings.
Once I feel safe, my warm personality will shine through. I initially prefer to approach than have people approach me but for those who can build up my confidence to them gradually, I might be interested in cuddles.
I love nibbling on hay filled puzzles, hopping through tunnels, and playing with chew toys or cardboard castles. A little variety will keep me feeling engaged and delighted!
I spent some time growing up in a loving foster home. This is what my wonderful foster family had to say about me:
"Marty is a sweet, gentle little soul. While he's not currently fond of being held or cuddled, he happily accepts pats and affection on his own terms. He enjoys his independence and, when he feels safe and comfortable, he'll come up to you to say hello.
He absolutely loves his pellets and fresh greens. He enjoys the chance to explore the grass and nibble when it's safe to do so. Indoors, he had free roam of the house and will often wander over to investigate what you're doing before settling into a cozy corner where he feels secure and sometimes even drifting off to sleep.
He's very curious and loves exploring his surrounding, he is a true free spirit. Growing up he has enjoyed the company of his bunny brothers and he has done well around older children. He's also quite tolerant of the usual household noises.
Overall, he's a charming, independent bunny who thrives in a calm, loving home where he can feel safe and free to be himself."
I would love a home where I can be indoors where my family is! A spacious indoor enclosure or safe free-roaming sounds great to me! I would also enjoy some supervised playtime in a shaded, secure, predator-proof outdoor area so I can explore and stretch my legs when the weather permits.
I would be ok in a home with calm kids, that are gentle and respect my space. I do enjoy being stroked and patted, but like most buns prefer to do this with my feet on the floor.
I may like to live with a similar sized de-sexed rabbit but we will need a slow introduction to make sure our relationship gets off on the right foot.
