About Monty
This guy is no couch pug-tato, he loves to play and go for walks. He would like a long daily walk to use up his energy and walks well on lead.
Monty has been living with 2-3 other dogs in foster care and gets along well with them. His ideal home would have a doggy playmate, best suited to a calm, desexed female. He can be a little unsure of new dogs at the park, so best to avoid busy, overstimulating environments until he becomes more comfortable.
Monty is used to having his humans around more often than not. He loves companionship and will thrive in a home where someone is around a lot of the time. He would love a space on the people’s bed, or his own bed close by to his people.
Monty is looking for a calm, adult-only home (no children). While he is a very sweet and eager-to-please boy, he can be a little untrusting of new people and takes time to become comfortable. He will benefit from someone patient and understanding, willing to go slow, provide clear guidance, and help him develop his confidence.
Monty has recently been desexed and is in great health. He is toilet trained, can use a doggy door and is not a big barker.
With the right environment, continued training, and a steady, confident human by his side, Monty will absolutely flourish. He has so much love, fun, and loyalty to give — he just needs a home willing to guide him into being his very best self.
