🌟 Personality & Backstory
Meet Peggy – A Rare Ginger Beauty with a Gentle Soul 🧡
Peggy is a beautiful young ginger female — a truly rare combo — with a soft, observant nature and quiet charm. She loves to sit back and watch the world go by, especially from a sunny windowsill where she can keep an eye on birds and people outside. Bird-watching is one of her favourite pastimes, and she can happily spend ages perched there, taking everything in.
Peggy would thrive in a calm, adults-only home with patient adopters who understand that shy cats need time and space to feel secure. When she first arrives, she may choose to hide as she settles in — that’s simply her way of adjusting. Please allow her at least two weeks to decompress and build confidence. Day by day, you’ll see her start exploring more, walking around the house with increasing curiosity and comfort.
She absolutely loves under-chin scratches (they melt her every time!) and treats are definitely the way to her heart. She’s not very chatty and isn’t a lap cat, but she’ll happily keep you company while you’re watching TV, quietly sharing your space. She’s also not fussy with food — dry biscuits are just as appreciated as chicken-flavoured wet food.
Further proof of her beautiful character is her caring nature. Peggy is deeply attentive and thoughtful — she’ll even accompany you to the toilet just to make sure everything is in order! During her time raising kittens, she always made sure they ate first before she took a bite herself. That gentle, nurturing instinct is simply part of who she is.
Peggy is a sensitive, loving girl who just needs patience and understanding to truly shine. In the right home, she will blossom into a loyal and quietly devoted companion. 🧡

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
