About Dana
Dana is a sweet, shy young girl. She has likely missed out on some important early socialisation to new people, places and things. Due to this it is going to take her a little longer to settle into her new home environment. Dana will need to be allowed indoors and included in the family. When introducing new people roll treats towards her to ensure all interactions are positive. Bonds quite quickly to her handler and enjoys gentle pats and affection, putting her paws up in your lap and leaning in. Dana is still learning to walk on lead. New owner will need to work on this in a quiet place such as the backyard before attempting short walks outside of the yard. Dana has only just started to learn her Sit cue, she will need a calm and patient owner who can continue her training with positive reinforcement. Dana is open for the right family. We recommend calmer children as she can be unsure and startles easily. Must meet at time of adoption. May do well in the home with a calm, older dog. Must meet at the time of adoption. She'll likely will be worried and unsure when meeting another dog.
