About Dana
Dana is a sweet, shy young girl who is still finding her way in the world. She has likely missed out on some important early socialisation to new people, places and things. Due to this it is going to take her a little longer to settle into her new home environment.
Dana would prefer indoor/outdoor access in her new home so she can be part of the family. She bonds quite quickly to her people once she's comfortable, and enjoys gentle affection, putting her paws up in your lap and leaning in for more.
Dana is still learning to walk on lead. New owner will need to work lead/ harness training in a quiet place such as the backyard before attempting short walks outside of the yard. She will do best with a calm and patient owner who can continue her training with positive reinforcement and lots of high value treats to set her up for success as an adult doggie.
Calm, older children in the home are recommended as she can be unsure and startles easily. All family members must come in to meet Dana to ensure she is the right fit.
May do well in the home with a calm, older doggie friend pending a meet and greet. She is initially worried by other dogs but warms up well with slow introductions and eventually shows her playful side.
