Burt is a gorgeous little tuxedo boy with a heart as big as his personality. He was found as a tiny kitten in a kind lady's backyard when he was only around 4 weeks old, and thankfully she reached out for help so Burt could be brought safely into care. Since then, he has been thriving and showing just how special he is.
Burt is playful, curious, and full of kitten energy, always ready to explore his surroundings or chase after toys. He is also one of the sweetest, most affectionate kittens you could ever meet. In fact, Burt has absolutely no concept of personal space and believes every lap, shoulder, pillow, cat bed, and sleeping cat belongs to him. He will happily plonk himself on top of any feline friend or person for a cuddle, whether they asked for one or not!
This delightful little character is constantly entertaining everyone around him. He loves having conversations with the water fountain, communicates almost entirely in adorable little squeaks rather than meows, and somehow manages to make everyone fall in love with him within minutes of meeting him. Burt is an extremely wonderful, loving boy whose gentle and affectionate nature shines through in everything he does.
He has grown up alongside other kittens and cats and has fantastic social skills, making him a wonderful fit for a home with other friendly feline companions.

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
