Meet Fuzz 🐾

Fuzz is a beautiful 7-year-old lady with a gentle soul and a sensitive heart. While she may be a little timid at first, once she feels safe and understood, her sweet personality begins to shine. Fuzz is looking for a patient, cat-savvy home that will give her the time and space she needs to truly blossom.
Fuzz can become overwhelmed in large, open spaces, so she'll do best starting out in a small "launch room" where she can decompress and build confidence before exploring the rest of the house. Once she's feeling secure, she'll appreciate having her territory expanded gradually.

To help her feel safe and enriched, Fuzz would love: Cat trees and sturdy scratching posts, Cozy hiding spots like cardboard boxes or cat igloos
Access to vertical spaces such as shelves or dressers, Plenty of safe spaces both high and low throughout the home
Providing indoor enrichment will help prevent boredom and give her healthy outlets for her energy.
Cats are sensitive creatures, and Fuzz can become overstimulated with too much petting.

Fuzz would do best in a home with teens or older children who understand basic cat body language and can respect her boundaries.
Fuzz has been a little hissy around other cats in the shelter, but this may be due to the environment. She may do well with calm, respectful feline companions with slow, supervised introductions.

She may also adjust to a calm, social dog, provided interactions are carefully monitored and introductions are gradual.

Fuzz is a sensitive, intelligent girl who just needs a little patience and understanding to thrive. In the right home, she'll reward her people with quiet companionship and the joy of watching her confidence grow every day. 💕
