Meet Pudding 🍮

Pudding came into care with her four kittens, absolutely terrified but fiercely protective. After seeing her kittens find their forever families, over the past 6 months, she has really blossomed. She is still extremely cautious, but she has a beautiful, gentle nature. She loves to play and really loves rolling in cat nip!

At her current foster home, she greets her two cat friends with head bonks and sometimes head bonks her foster mum’s hand, too. It’s her signature greeting and very sweet. She is cautious of patting but if you get the timing right she really melts into your hand and loves a scratch behind the ears and chin. She craves affection but struggles to know how to get it. She loves to cuddle up with the resident cats and is always first in line for meals.

Pudding has a beautiful, soft, shiny coat. She is an easy cat in many ways; perfect toileting, grooming etc. she just needs a lot of patience to make her feel safe. In her current foster home, she has a little space to herself where she can retreat to if she feels overwhelmed – though she is usually happy to watch the household morning to night from a safe corner of the lounge room.

Pudding is a young cat and has a lot of potential. With gradual exposure, we believe she will continue to learn that some humans are safe and she can feel safe, too.
