About Saffron

A beautiful and sweet-natured girl, Saffron is an absolute expert at winning hearts!
This classic 'people cat' will actively chase you down for head scratches, chin rubs and quality cuddle time. She ADORES snoozing on your body under a blanket! A day spent with her favourite humans is a good day in Saffron's books :)
And when she isn't busy being your shadow, she's usually embracing her playful (and hilarious) side - most notably, her obsession with her own tail! Sometimes she forgets it’s actually attached to her and goes into full-speed spinning tornado mode trying to catch it. Watching her little face when she finally 'pins' it, only to realise it’s her own tail, is a daily highlight in her foster home!
Once she’s tuckered out, Saffron loves to find a cosy and secluded spot for a deep, peaceful sleep. An adorable blend of cute, funny and affectionate, this lovely young lady could be your purrfect match!
Like all Maggie’s pets, Saffron is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... is one where I can be the centre of attention! I thrive on human companionship, so I’m looking for a family that has plenty of time for play sessions and couch cuddles. I’d also love a home with a few good hidey-holes where I can retreat for my afternoon naps, but mostly I just want to be wherever you are.
MY ENERGY LEVEL: I’m a spirited girl with a healthy amount of energy! I love playtime and entertaining you with my antics, but I’m also a firm believer in the 'work hard, rest hard' philosophy. I tend to be active and adventurous in bursts, and take several long, luxurious naps throughout the day to recharge my batteries.
MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: Being so sociable and gentle, I'm pretty comfortable around children. And as long as yours are happy to give me some nice pats and perhaps join in on a game with a feather wand, I think we'll be the best of friends!
MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I've had a very pleasant time living with other cats while in foster care.
Though I've not met any dogs yet, I may be open to making new friends of all kinds! A slow and steady introduction would be essential, of course.

We ask all people looking to adopt to fill in our adoption enquiry form at https://form.jotform.co/92940837256870. Please use this link rather than the 'Enquire' button on the pet's PetRescue profile to streamline your enquiry.
Our foster carer will contact you when we receive your application to arrange a time for you to meet with their foster pet.
We want your adoption through Maggie's to be a good experience so we will occasionally suggest a different cat or dog that may suit your situation better and the needs of the individual pet.
All our pets leave for their new homes on a two-week trial. At the end of the trial, we will transfer the microchip into your name and provide you with the pets vet certificates. Once you receive the Certificate of Identification from council, your adoption will be complete.
Please consider, that a Maggie's Pet is a pet for Life, before adopting.
