About Monkey
To know Monkey is to love her. She's the most loving, charming, beautiful girl. She has a little heart on her nose, so she's basically saying "I love you" all the time.
She loves to snuggle up with you in bed and make biscuits. She'll give you lovely kisses. She loves a pat. She's a chatty girl, so she'll keep you filled on what's been happening, and make sure you don't forget meal time.
Even though at 3 years old she's an adult now, she still loves to play with her toys and chase dangly things. But when she's not playing, she's happy sitting on the window watching the birds and the world go by.
Even though she's fostered on her own at the moment, she was previously in a household with a lot of cats, and she got along with them fine. She hasn't been around kids or dogs, but she's pretty calm, so we think she'd be ok. But she's also perfectly happy being on her own, and would be fine to hang by herself if her human was out at work.
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
