About Phoebe
✨ Meet Phoebe - Your Peaceful, Sun‑Loving Queen ✨
Phoebe is a gorgeous 6‑year‑old calico who enjoys life at her own perfectly curated pace. She's the type of cat who loves having you around-not necessarily all over her, but nearby, available, and ready for pats exactly when she decides the moment is right. Think of her as a gentle supervisor who prefers her affection scheduled rather than spontaneous.
Having lived with both dogs and cats, Phoebe carries herself with effortless authority. She's the undeniable boss lady when it comes to dogs-calm, confident, and very clear about her boundaries-while offering a soft, companionable friendship to fellow felines.
Her ideal day? A warm patch of sunshine, total serenity, and a household that respects the beauty of peace and quiet. She's a sun‑bathing connoisseur who thrives when nothing (and no one) is annoying her.
If you're looking for a companion who brings calm energy, quiet confidence, and a touch of queenly charm, Phoebe is ready to rule your heart-and your sunniest windowsill. ☀️💛
Phoebe is available for meet and greets now and ready to head on home.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
