Papaya is a sweet, affectionate boy who truly wears his heart on his sleeve (or his paws!). šæ He is famous in his foster home for his non-stop kneadingāif thereās a soft blanket nearby, Papaya is busy making biscuits! Heās a social boy who loves playing with his brothers, but he also has a lovely, calm side that makes him a joy to have around.

Papaya is looking for a home that strikes a perfect balance between nap time and playtime. š“š¾ Heād love a family that has plenty of time for interactive games, but also appreciates a quiet afternoon of snoozing on the bed. While we haven't tested him with dogs or kids yet, his brave and steady nature suggests heād adapt well to most environments!

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family memberās health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
