🍄 Meet Truffle: Your Loyal Little Bestie 🍄
If you’re looking for a kitten who will happily follow you from room to room just to see what you’re up to, Truffle is your man! 👣 This lovely boy is a "Quiet Observer" with a heart of gold—he doesn't need to be the centre of attention, he just wants to be where you are.
✨ His Personality
Truffle is a wonderfully chill kitten. 🌿 He is always happy to see his humans and has a lovely, steady temperament. Whether he’s following you around the house or playing a game with his brothers, he brings a sense of calm and companionship to the home. He’s brave, too—so far, nothing seems to rattle this little guy! 😎
🎾 Truffle’s Favourites
The "Pancake" Life: Truffle has some very specific favourite spots! You’ll often find him at the end of the bed, the top of the cat tree, or flattened out like a pancake on a chair. 🥞🪑
Playtime: He goes mad for plush toys with feathers, especially if they are on a wand! 🪶🎣
The Way to His Heart: Truffle is a total sucker for head pats and goes absolutely crazy for squeeze tube treats. 🍗😋
🏡 The Ideal Home
Truffle would thrive in a calm household where he can truly be part of the family. 🏠 He wants a home where he’ll get plenty of affection and space to hang out with his favourite people. While we haven't tested him with dogs or children yet, his easy-going nature suggests he’s a very adaptable boy!

A Social Boy: Truffle must be adopted with a sibling or into a home with another friendly cat. He loves his brothers too much to be a solo cat! 👯♂️

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
