🧈 Meet Butter: The Tiniest Sweetheart 🧈
If you have a soft spot for the underdog (or under-kitten!), you will absolutely fall in love with Butter. 💛 As the tiniest member of her litter, Butter is a "Quiet Observer" with a heart of gold. She may be small, but the love she has to give is absolutely enormous!
✨ Her Personality
Butter is a tender-hearted and gentle soul. 🌸 Because she was the last of her siblings to wean and stays closest to her mama, she has a very "infant" sweetness about her. She likes to take life slowly and prefers to watch the world from a safe distance before stepping out to play. With a little patience, this shy girl blossoms into the most loving and cuddly companion you could imagine! 🍯
🎾 Butter’s Favourites
Safe Spaces: Her favorite spots are tucked under the cat lounge or curled up in a cozy corner—usually right next to her mama, Hazel. 🏰👩👧
Playtime: She’s a fan of the classics! Small balls and feather toys are her go-to when she’s feeling brave and playful. ⚽🪶
The Way to Her Heart: Just like her sisters, Butter is a big fan of treats! 🍗 They are a great way to build her confidence and show her she’s safe.
🏡 The Ideal Home
Butter is looking for a patient and loving owner, ideally someone who works from home 💻 so she can feel secure and supervised. While she doesn’t need a perfectly silent home, she does get a bit startled by loud noises 📢, so a household that understands her "gentle" vibe is a must!

A Note on Bravery: Since she is a bit sensitive to loud sounds, she’ll need a human who can move at her pace while she learns to navigate the big wide world. 🌍💪

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
