Almond is a sweet, gentle kitten who truly shines with a little bit of patience. 🌿 She isn't the type to go zooming across the room immediately; instead, she likes to watch the world from a safe distance before joining in. Once she feels secure, her affectionate and loving side comes out in the most heart-melting way! 🥰
🎾 Almond’s Favourites
The Squad: Her absolute favorite thing is playing with her sisters! 👯♀️ She is a social butterfly with other cats.
Toys: She loves chasing small balls and pouncing on feather wands. 🪶⚽
Cozy Spots: You’ll often find her tucked away in a small cat tree or hanging out under a cozy chair—her favourite "safe zones." 🏰☁️
The Way to Her Heart: Just like her mama, Almond is a huge fan of treats! 🍗 They are the perfect way to tell her she’s doing a great job.
🏡 The Ideal Home
Almond is looking for a patient and understanding owner, ideally someone who works from home 💻 so she can have some quiet company throughout the day. Because she relies on her feline family for confidence, she must be adopted with her mama (Hazel) or a sibling. 🐾💞

Not a Solo Act: Almond needs a feline friend to feel secure, so she isn't suited for a solo-cat home. 👯♀️

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
