About Bonnie
Bonnie is one of those dogs who just gets being part of a family. She’s incredibly loving and happiest when she’s included in everyday life rather than left on the sidelines. She’s happy to spend time both inside and outside during the day, but sleeping inside with her people is non-negotiable in Bonnie’s world.
She’s fully toilet trained (even without a dog door) and has excellent manners around food. At dinner time, she’ll patiently wait off to the side while you prepare her meal and won’t rush the bowl. People can walk past while she eats and she couldn’t care less.
Bonnie loves baths, cuddles, head rubs, and playtime. She has a natural instinct to watch over her household and will keep an eye on things without ever needing to be aggressive. After a rainy outing, she knows exactly what to do — sit on the towel and wait to be dried before heading inside.
Like any real dog, Bonnie has a few quirks. She’ll bark at the postman, gets a bit excited about cats, and appears instantly whenever food is involved. She enjoys a good zoom around the yard, chews balls instead of bones (which she usually buries for later), and doesn’t chew household items or toys. You may also occasionally catch her relaxing on the couch… especially if it looks comfy.
Bonnie is a smart girl who would love a home where she can get regular walks, lots of cuddles, and a bit of mental stimulation — learning new things and keeping her brain busy. She wants to feel like a proper family member, not just “the dog.”
Her little habits are what really make her special. She asks for cuddles by gently resting her head on your knee and looking up at you with those big puppy-dog eyes. If you let her out during the night, she’ll insist on walking you back to bed before she settles again. She gives you a full sniff-check when you get home, squeaks when she yawns, and loves resting her head on a pillow or anything slightly raised.
Bonnie is looking for a home that treats their pets the same way they treat their people — with love, patience, and inclusion. If you’re after a loyal, affectionate, slightly goofy dog who truly wants to belong, Bonnie might just be your girl.
Medical notes
Bonnie is desexed, microchipped and up to date with vaccinations and parasite control.
She is in perfect health.
