💛 Freyja — Gentle Senior Looking for a Soft Place to Land

Beautiful Freyja is one of those very special souls — sensitive, deeply affectionate, and happiest simply being close to her person. She has been a much-loved companion her entire life and is now hoping to find a calm, caring home where she can enjoy her golden years.

Freyja is a happy, loving girl who adores human company. She is very people-focused and will often watch you with curious, expressive looks, as if she wants to help with whatever you’re doing. She loves being talked to and thrives on gentle attention and companionship.

In her younger days, Freyja loved beach adventures — running along the sand and playfully snapping at the waves. These days she enjoys life at a slower pace, preferring short strolls, new smells, and cosy naps indoors.

Due to her owner needing to move into an apartment, Freyja now spends some time on a balcony area, which has been a big change for this previously indoor companion dog. She would truly love to have a home again where she can enjoy access to a secure backyard and be part of daily life indoors.

🐾 About Freyja

• Indoor, house-trained, and very well behaved
• Sleeps quietly through the night
• Friendly with people and good with other dogs
• Must be fed separately, as she does not like sharing food
• Quiet when left alone for short periods
• Enjoys daily walks but is content with about 20 minutes

Like many senior dogs, Freyja has some age-related medical considerations (no cancer), which we are happy to discuss in detail with suitable applicants.

🏡 Her Ideal Home

Freyja would suit a calm, stable household where she can enjoy companionship, gentle exercise, and a predictable routine. Because of her food guarding, she would do best:
• In an adult home or with older, dog-savvy children
• With owners happy to manage separate feeding
• In a quiet environment where she can live primarily indoors

This sweet girl is being surrendered purely due to her owner’s health challenges and housing changes — not because of any fault of her own. She is deeply loved, and this decision has been heartbreaking.

Freyja still has so much love to give. She is the kind of loyal, soulful dog who will quietly steal your heart and stay there.
