About Tyson
Introducing Tyson!
Tyson is chipped as an American Bulldog, but he is a Micro Bully / Exotic XL Bully born 7 May 2024.
Tyson came in as a stray and nobody came looking for him. Which is amazing as he is such a great little dog.
Since being at the facility Tyson has been a ball of fun, affection with every human. He just wants to get into everything, meet everybody both dogs and people. He loves other dogs and wants to be friends with all of them.
Tyson tested very well with other dogs, and we believe he would be suitable to live with another dog, or be an only dog at home. If you have a friendly dog at home, we will need to do a meet & greet with them to ensure they get along before going home. Please note your dog would need to be up to date with vaccinations.
We have not yet tested Tyson with cats, but with his attitude we believe he should be OK with cats, however if you have a cat in your family please let us know and we will make sure he is ok with our facility cat.
The same with our resident rooster, he hasn't yet met him, but we can introduce them if you need.
Tyson has shown no signs of food aggression, while at the facility.
Tyson's adoption fee includes his desexing & lifetime registration.
He is also regularly treated for flea and worms and are up to date with his vaccinations.

Adoption details
If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
Congratulations, you have now saved a life!
