Young Scott is young fella with a heart as big as his paws. This sweet boy was named Scott because he reminds his foster mum of a little Scotty dog, and the name suits his sweet, soulful personality perfectly.
Scott is a pretty chill little guy who is happiest when he’s with his people. Truly, his greatest joy in life is simply being by your side (or more accurately… under your feet!). Whether you’re relaxing on the couch or moving around the house, Scott just wants to be involved in it all.
He absolutely loves his toys and will happily entertain himself, especially on the bed where he’ll roll around, toss his toys in the air, and have a little bark at himself in pure puppy delight. He enjoys a good game of fetch and is learning all about how fun playtime can be.
Scott is incredibly sweet-natured. His first instinct when you look at him or bend down to pat him is to roll straight onto his back for belly rubs. It’s impossible not to fall in love with his gentle, affectionate spirit.
Because he can be a little anxious at times, Scott would do best in a home with another confident dog to help him feel secure and show him the ropes. A canine companion would really help him blossom. He does like to be close, very close, so he may not be the best match for an elderly owner as he can be a tripping hazard.
Scott is looking for a loving home where he can grow, feel safe, and spend his days doing what he loves most: playing and being with his people. As with all puppies, consistent training and boundaries will help him grow into the best dog he can be.
If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal little shadow with a playful streak and a heart of gold, Scott might just be your perfect match.
Scott is $400 to adopt and comes desexed, microchipped, C5 vaccinated, and given flea/tick/worm prevention.
