Gelato is the kind of pup who wins you over before you’ve even bent down to say hello. He is a delightfully chonky 12 kilograms, a walking scoop of joy — all soft merle swirls, floppy ears, and bright, eager eyes. His coat is a beautiful mix of black, grey, and white, giving him that marbled, “cookies‑and‑cream” look that makes you want to ruffle him every time he trots past.

This boy adores people. Cuddles, kisses, belly‑up pats — Gelato is convinced affection is a full‑time job, and he’s more than happy to be employed. He follows his humans from room to room with the devotion of a pup who simply wants to be part of everything. With dogs, he’s just as enthusiastic. He loves to play with dogs of all sizes, happily engaging in rough‑and‑tumble fun but also showing a lovely awareness of when another dog needs space or a breather.

Like any young, excitable pup, Gelato can get a bit over‑amped at times. He may jump up or give a cheeky nip when he’s thrilled to see you, so families with children will need to be confident teaching kids how to interact with a bouncy, affectionate youngster. The good news is he’s already crate trained, toilet trained, and eager to please — the foundations are there, and he’s ready to keep learning.

Gelato has lived with another dog his whole life, and it shows in the best way. He would absolutely thrive with a canine playmate who enjoys his energy and companionship. If a family doesn’t have another dog, that’s still workable — he’s young enough to adapt — but he’ll need support to build confidence and manage the separation anxiety that can come from suddenly being without a furry friend.

This sweet boy is equal parts fun, affection, and downright adorableness. Bring him home, and you’ll quickly discover that Gelato really does melt into the people he loves.
