Hi there! 👋

My name is Rory and I'm a happy, playful, loyal little fella. I'm a super affectionate boy and I love my humans. I'm just on one year old and described as a medium, red, male Australian Cattle Dog. 🐕

I'm a handsome chap, absolutely love my food and I am a happy boy looking for a place to call my very own. I am quite playful with my humans and love snuggle time. I am a gentle natured fella, happy to engage with other dogs who want to play but not into being bullies or pushed around. If you already have a female dog then I am happy to have a big or little sister, otherwise I would prefer to be the only dog in your house. I am very happy just following my humans everywhere.

I would suit a home with a well fenced yard, shady spots for me to sunbake and comfy couches for us to snooze on together. I prefer walks and adventures rather than going to dog parks, so if you are looking for the perfect walking or running buddy - look no further. Lets get active together and hit the streets running. I’m best suited to a home where I am included in all of the family outings and activities.

I have been working on my recall and I am learning my basic manners & leash walking in foster care. Like a typical cattle dog, I am energetic, intelligent and alert and will need to be given appropriate exercise and mental stimulation for my breed. I'll thrive with continued training. As a working breed, I need daily exercise and mental stimulation to keep me a happy & balanced dog.

My perfect adoption family will possibly have a few children who understand I'm not a toy but do want to spend time playing with me. I like respectful children and have many years ahead of me that I would love to share with a family.
