Bear

Bear is a beautiful special needs deaf boy who has truly begun to come out of his shell, thanks in large part to the guidance and companionship of his foster sibling. Having another dog to look up to has helped Bear grow in confidence, and it has been incredibly special to watch him become more relaxed, curious and engaged with the world around him.

His training is coming along wonderfully. Bear has learnt to use the doggie door to go outside, and his toilet training is progressing well. He is also learning hand signals and is already responding reliably to sit, stay, follow/come here, yes (good), and no (bad). He is a clever boy who enjoys learning and thrives with clear communication and positive reinforcement.

Bear would do best in a home that can continue building his confidence and supporting his training. A calm, patient environment, especially with another friendly dog, will help him continue to flourish into the confident companion he is meant to be.

If you have the big heart that Bear needs we would love to hear from you and your current doggie companion.

We expect Bear will be medium when fully grown.

Even though we are based in Carnarvon, we have animals located in various locations and we can assist with some transport within Western Australia. Please check location of each animal before applying.
