Gonzales earned his name for a reason! Whether it’s a feather wand, a crinkle ball, or his absolute favourite, the pumpkin on a string, he is guaranteed to win the race to the toy every single time. He is an independent explorer who loves to investigate every nook and cranny of his kingdom. He’s remarkably brave, too! Aside from the one time he was startled by a particularly loud human "toot" 💨😂, nothing seems to rattle this courageous boy.

Don’t let the high energy fool you, once the "go-go-go" phase is over, Gonzales has the most incredible "off switch." He is a world-class snuggler who believes a human lap is the best place on Earth. He loves deep chin rubs and full head-to-tail pats, rewarding you with a non-stop "purr-purr-purr" that will melt your heart.

Gonzales is a total socialite! He is wonderful with kids and thrives in a home with plenty of action. Because he is so steady and sweet, he would be a dream come true for a first-time cat family.
Note: Gonzales is a "team player" and isn't looking for a solo career. He must be adopted with one of his siblings (or go to a home with another young, playful cat) to keep his social tank full! 👯♂️🐾

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family member’s health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
