Hi… I’m Jett. I may be incredibly cute (I’ve been told it’s undeniable), but I’m also incredibly shy. Life hasn’t always been easy for me — I used to survive out on the streets, navigating all the perils that come with it. Because of that, I’m still learning that the world — and humans — can be kind.
Trust doesn’t come quickly to me. It’s something I build slowly, carefully, day by day. But here’s the beautiful part: I am learning. I’m lowering my guard. I’m discovering that gentle hands can bring comfort, that quiet voices can mean safety, and that love might just be worth the risk.
What I need is a very quiet, patient home. A sanctuary where my personal space is respected and I’m allowed to move at my own pace. No children, no dogs — just calm energy, soft routines, and someone who understands that patience is truly a virtue.
If you can give me time, I promise you’ll see my personality unfold. The shy glances will turn into curious ones. The cautious steps will become confident strolls. And one day, when I choose to trust you completely, it will be the most special bond you’ve ever known.
I’m not the “love at first sight” type. I’m the “love that grows stronger every day” type. And I’m hoping my forever person is out there, ready to let me bloom.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
We will answer any questions you have regarding cat care and help you to obtain any support you may need.
