Bessie’s Beautiful Puppies – Ready to Find Their Forever Homes
Bessie has done an incredible job raising 12 healthy, happy puppies, and now it’s time for these little stars to start looking for families of their own. There are 3 girls and 7 boys available, with two lucky boys already adopted.
Mum Bessie is a gorgeous 21kg Bull Terrier x Staffy, with a lovely nature to match. She has been a devoted, gentle mum and already has a new family lined up to adopt her once her babies are old enough to head off on their own adventures.
While Dad is unknown, based on the puppies’ size, build, and colouring, we believe he may have been a larger breed, possibly a Bull Arab or Bull Mastiff. This means these pups are likely to grow into medium to large-sized dogs.
These puppies are being raised with care and will be looking for homes that understand the commitment involved in raising a young dog — including training, socialisation, and plenty of love. With the right guidance, they are expected to grow into loyal, affectionate companions.

No known pre-existing conditions.
All puppies come with a desex contract and will be desexed at 6 months of age at our expense.
The puppies will not be available until the 24th March 2026 when they are 8 weeks old.

Adoption details
Once you are ready to adopt, please complete the Promising Paws Adoption Application questionnaire below. This is not a contract or agreement of any kind, just an expression of interest in the animal.
We will not authorise meets unless this has been completed and only approved applications may meet the dogs. Once you are approved and have submitted all relevant information, we will organise for you to meet the dog at your home or in a public place. If you have other animals they should please be at the meet.
Before applying, please consider and finalise the following: real estate approval, fence repair if needed, outside shelter areas and look into the dog's breed (e.g. size of dog, diet, temperament, exercise requirements).
*Same gender adoptions will not be considered. Same sex aggression is something at Promising Paws we will avoid.*
Supporting documents required:
Real estate approval or proof of home ownership such as a rates notice;
Photos of your fence and current pets, if applicable.
The dog will be up to date with all vaccinations and worming as at the time of adoption. Any future vaccinations and preventatives will be at the adopter's expense.
