About Coconut and Muesli
Muesli and Coconut were found dumped in very poor condition. Both were underweight with severe ear mites, and Muesli had survived a predator attack that resulted in infection.
They are recovering well, have received vet care, vaccinations and are starting to look for their forever home.
These girls are large rabbits (4kg+) and are estimated to be a few years old. They are being rehomed as a bonded pair only — their bond is extremely strong.
Temperament & personality 🐇
- Coconut is vision impaired, but it does not limit her day-to-day life. She is confident, curious, and always the first to come over to investigate snacks. She enjoys affection on her terms and is a big fan of quiet snuggles.
- Muesli is the more reserved of the two. She can be shy and may kick out when handled, particularly if she feels unsure. We are working on building her confidence with handling.
Despite their past, both girls are laid-back, gentle rabbits who will suit someone looking for an “instant bunny family.”
Important placement information 🏡
- Not suitable as children’s pets
- Not suitable as an Easter gift
- House rabbits only — they must live indoors in an appropriate setup (e.g. playpen, free range or bunny room.)
- They will not be going to a home where they are outdoors in a hutch, or kept in a cage.
Medical notes
