About Riley
Riley may be almost 14 but don't let him think that. A spirited older fella who came into care missing patches of fur, itchy beyond belief and stiff jointed.
With a diet change, a holistic approach and some much needed joint support; he's made a fantastic a spritely change.
Showing to be dog social with others of all sizes he could adjust to a home with a stable and well mannered canine companion however he doesn't crave their company to thrive.
Best suited to a home with no pocket pets/ poultry or livestock. He's searching for a more leisured life filled with daily walk, a comfortable bed and some sun to have a snooze in.
Riley shows to nicely interact with dog savvy kids but being older and a little more senile he's best suited to kids over the age of 8.
Riley travels well in the car so is a great shotgun buddy for any visits to the beach, visits the pet store (for his snacks of course) or just for a little cruise enjoying the air conditioning.
Located in the Lower Hunter Valley NSW, Riley is looking for a loving and kind retirement home for his older body with someone looking to enjoy the subsets with a new companion.
He's not searching for a home interstate so NSW or ACT applications only please.

Adoption details
In the ENQUIRY SECTION please explain in LENGTH some basics about yourself/ your life/ your household and what type of life you can provide for one of our rescue animals.
If successful, you would be contacted by phone, where we will talk about your enquiry and potentially organise a meet and greet between you/ your dogs/ your family and the potential candidate
From there, you can either take your animal with you if the meet and greet was successful and their vet work has been completed- or if the vet work hasn't been completed, you must wait until it's finished before taking your new friend home which will be organised between yourself and the foster carer.
Every animal has a 2 week trial period.
