About Zoe
🐾 Meet Zoe – Gentle, Loyal and Ready to Love Again
Zoe has come into our care through no fault of her own. Her much-loved owner was faced with homelessness and had to make one of the hardest decisions imaginable — to surrender her cherished companion.
It’s clear Zoe was deeply loved and well cared for.
After spending two weeks in the pound and losing her precious owner, Zoe was understandably shy at first — but she learns to trust quickly and forms a deep bond with her person. Once she feels safe, she absolutely adores her humans.
Zoe has good recall, knows “sit” and “down,” and is house-trained. She’s a calm, relaxed companion who loves curling up on the couch in the evenings. Given the choice, she would happily sleep beside you in bed and takes up a surprisingly small space while doing so. She is also able to sleep quietly in a different room if this is your preference.
She is good with children and other dogs making her a wonderful all-round family companion. Zoe would love to find her forever human and follow you around like a gentle kind shadow.
Microchipped as a Wolfhound cross, Zoe has the elegant look of a Great Dane or perhaps a Greyhound mix — but when a dog is this kind and gentle, the label matters far less than the heart.
She currently weighs 31.4 kg and, although her coat is shiny, she is on the lean side. We suspect she lost weight during her time in the pound — something we often see, as many dogs drop condition due to stress.
Zoe is ready for a loving home where she can feel secure, included and cherished once again.
