Rusty has grown out of most puppy behaviours now he is just over 2 years old. He loves other dogs thriving in their company, but secretly he's longing for a special one-on-one bond and to be your steadfast shadow.

He adores children, and there's no doubt that he'll bring plenty of laughter and happiness to their days. However, he's not a fan of cats, and while he doesn't mind livestock, he can't be trusted around chickens. Rusty is happiest when tucked in a fenced yard where he can play safely.

At home, Rusty enjoys being pampered and will happily lay by your side on the couch. He responds well to affection and is easy to care for, adapting easily to bath time and enjoying mealtime, especially when it's filled with fresh meat.

With Rusty's curiosity comes a penchant for exploring, so he needs supervision to ensure he doesn't roam too far; he may run off and become quite a little explorer. he is an intelligent quick learner and food motivated, making him a perfect dog for ongoing training.

Despite his delightful nature, Rusty can dig and climb if left alone unsupervised. With a family around most of the time or another doggy playmate, he should be less inclined toward these behaviours!

Toilet training is making progress and he shows promise on the lead and doesn't mind being tied up when you're out, provided he has comfort and a cozy bed.

This adventurous boy loves car rides and is keen to embark on exciting journeys. He’s a "cool dude" who deserves a family that can keep up with his energetic vibe and offer him plenty of love and dedication in return.
