At 9 years young, this sweet Kelpie is ready for a new chapter. He loves relaxed
sniffaris, taking in the neighbourhood at his own pace, and is hoping for a quieter
home where he can enjoy gentle adventures and close companionship.
With People: Calm and loyal, he’s happiest when included. He would thrive in a peaceful home with gentle walks, cosy downtime, and steady company.
With Other Dogs: Best suited as your one and only, he’s still happy to socialise on walks with respectful canine companions. He values his space and will politely let others know when he’s had enough.

Health: As a senior gent, he may be a little slower these days but still enjoys getting out and about. Our team is happy to chat through his age-related needs.
Adoption details
If you are interested in meeting one of the dogs available on our adoption page, please contact City of Salisbury on (08) 8406 8222 or email communitycompliance@salisbury.sa.gov.au, and complete an adoption application.
Once your application has been received, we will be in touch to discuss your application and the next steps. This includes organising a meet and greet so you and the dog can get to know one another.
If there are children or other dogs in your household, we ask that a second meet and greet be arranged. This allows for a dog-to-dog introduction and helps ensure your resident dog is also happy with your choice of companion.
Please note that some dogs may require further training and may be too energetic for families with very young children. Our team will guide you through the best options to suit you and your family and help match you with the right dog.
If everything meets your expectations, we will work with you to complete the required paperwork and payment so you can take your newest family member home.
