About Spot
Spot is the definition of enthusiasm on legs. He arrived knowing absolutely nothing — no manners, no obedience, no leash skills, no toilet training — but he’s tackling every new lesson with the enthusiasm of a kid discovering chocolate for the first time.
He’s a high‑energy go‑getter who thinks life is one big adventure. Spot would thrive with an active family or a home with plenty of land where he can zoom, bounce and burn off his endless supply of wiggles. High, secure fencing is a must, because Spot believes the world is full of exciting things and he’d love to explore all of them.
He may also enjoy a high‑energy dog buddy who can keep up with his play style and help show him the ropes.
Spot is a work‑in‑progress, but he’s bright, eager and bursting with potential. With the right home, he’ll grow into a fun, loyal and absolutely unforgettable companion.

Adoption details
Dogs:
(1) The first step is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ Please answer all questions and include photos of your yard and fencing.
(2) All applications will be considered by our Adoption Team, following which a "meet and greet" will be offered to the top-ranking applicant.
(3) If the “meet and greet" is successful, the applicant may adopt the dog and take him or her home the same day.
(4) For successful interstate applicants, different arrangements may apply and will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
Cats:
If you are interested in one of our cats or kittens, please click on the green "Enquire about ...", button, tell us a bit about yourself and the home you can offer the cat, and one of our volunteers will be in touch.
