About Alexa & Cindy
Cindy and Alexa are a bonded pair of female Domestic Short Hair cats available for adoption in Waurn Ponds (Greater Geelong, Victoria).
Here's the thing about adopting a bonded pair: you get two cats who already know how to share a home, share a person and share a couch.
They arrive already at ease with each other, with their space, and with the people in it.
Cindy and Alexa have been each other's company since kittenhood. They're settled, emotionally secure and bring a calm, easy rhythm to wherever they live.
A little about Cindy and Alexa:
🐾 Bonded sisters — secure, settled and low-drama from day one
🐾 Comfortable living alongside a large, respectful dog
🐾 Gentle with children and welcoming of visitors in their own time
🐾 Independent enough to entertain themselves, affectionate enough to seek you out
🐾 Expert bird-watchers and dedicated couch supervisors
Cindy is the quietly confident one. She enjoys being near her people without being demanding about it — a pat here, a gentle head rub there, then back to her favourite window perch.
She also has one habit her current guardian finds quietly delightful: she waits outside the bathroom door after every shower, ready to greet you as though you've been gone for days.
Alexa is the dedicated cuddler. She has an uncanny ability to materialise on your lap the moment you sit down — whether you're working, watching something or simply pausing for five minutes.
When things get busy, both girls know how to find a quiet corner — and they're reliably back once the dust settles.
Mornings bring sunny naps while the household moves around them. By evening both girls emerge for dinner, then spend the rest of the night providing calm, steady company.
A home with Cindy and Alexa tends to feel settled, warm and quietly full.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
