About Albert
Introducing Albert, a charming Cavalier King Charles with a heart full of potential and a spirit that yearns for companionship and love. Born on February 1, 2021, this timid little guy weighs in at a petite 8.2 kg. Though he's still finding his footing in this big, bustling world, Albert is destined to be a delightful addition to a patient and understanding family ready to nurture his confidence.
Albert is in need of time, love, and encouragement to come out of his shell. He's not yet accustomed to walking down the street with a lead, so his ideal new family should be equipped to help him with lead training and gentle socialization. Albert would truly blossom in a home with another small dog, as having a four-legged friend would give him the reassurance and companionship he craves. He has not been tested with cats.
This sweet-natured pup might be shy at first, but with patience and kindness, you’ll surely see his true loving nature shine through. Albert would thrive in a calm and secure environment where he can gradually gain confidence and explore the world at his own pace. If you’re looking for a gentle soul to nurture and welcome into your heart, Albert is the perfect companion waiting to embark on a journey of growth and love with you.
Medical notes
Albert had 2 teeth extracted.
He has a grade 5/6 heart murmur. At the moment he is not showing any signs. If he starts coughing, lethargy etc he will need medication - monitor

Adoption details
Our adoption process is easy. You will receive a application for the animals you are interested in. Please full that in and send it back to us.
Even though you may be first to message, this does not always guarantee you will be chosen to adopt. By no means do we run on a "first in, first served basis". We aim to ensure that our animals are adopted into the most suitable home for them and the new family.
With all our animals, we go on what our vet has told us and what we believe the breed and age to be. We never guarantee the breed or age but take the best educated guess.
Please note: Our shelter is located in the Snowy Mountains. We are a 5 hour drive from Sydney and Melbourne and 2 to 3 hours from Canberra.
