About Shady
Meet Shady, a cat with a heart full of untapped warmth and potential. He may seem a little reserved at first, but beneath that quiet exterior lies the makings of a wonderful snuggly lap cat. Shady is the kind of feline who enjoys taking his time to get to know his surroundings and the people in them. Every day, his confidence grows, and he's slowly revealing his gentle and affectionate side.
Shady is comfortable around a variety of other pets and children, making him a versatile addition to any family dynamic. He appreciates a calm environment where he can explore at his own pace and approach you when he's ready. Once he feels at ease, you'll find him cozily positioned next to you, his soothing purrs filling the air.
This handsome kitty has endless potential to be a loving companion. Shady is making great progress in adjusting to his new environment, and he's eagerly awaiting a home where he can fully blossom. If you have the time and patience to let him unfold at his own pace, Shady will reward you with loyalty, companionship, and affection beyond measure.

Adoption details
*Please only apply if you reside 4hrs from Shepparton
* You will have a list of questions sent that you need to answer and send back.
* (For dog applications) Photos are requested of your yard, the fencing and any undercover shelter areas (patio/pergola) that must be sent through along with answers to questions.
* It’s not first in best dressed and we pride ourselves in finding the perfect family home for the animals in our care and make sure each family finds the perfect animal as well.
* We feed our cats on Lifewise, bags are available to buy from us.
* We also offer a 2 week trial on all animals that are adopted from this rescue organisation, if returned during this time a refund less 10% is given.
* Meet and greets are always taken prior to adoption, on the day if all goes well and you are happy, you can adopt on the spot and take your animal home to begin the next chapter together. We don't offer more than 1 meet and greet.
*All animals listed on our petrescue page are available for adoption until the moment they are removed
