Meet Bentley – the sweet, cheeky boy with a heart of gold and just a dash of mischief to keep life interesting!
At only one year old, this handsome German Wirehaired Pointer X is the perfect blend of playful and lazy. He loves a good zoom around the yard, but he’s equally happy stretching out for a nap once he’s satisfied his curiosity (and possibly checked your laundry for “borrowable” items!).
Bentley is incredibly people-focused and thrives on companionship. He truly loves being around his humans and would suit a home where someone is there most of the time — part-time workers or someone mostly home would be ideal. He bonds strongly and enjoys simply hanging out with you.
Now, full disclosure… Bentley does have a cheeky streak! He’s a known food and clothing thief, so keeping snacks secured and laundry off the floor is a must. He’ll keep you smiling with his mischievous personality.
Bentley is house-trained and currently completing Level 2 obedience training. He would greatly benefit from continuing his training to help channel his intelligence and enthusiasm in all the right ways. With consistency and guidance, he will absolutely shine.

Bentley would thrive in a home with secure fencing where he can safely explore. He’s still young and eager to learn, and with ongoing training and structure, he’ll grow into a truly exceptional companion.

He is in care in East Maitland, NSW, and is not available for adoption interstate. His adoption fee is $600 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
