About Halo
💕 Meet Halo – Teeny Tiny, Totally Adorable 💕
Halo is a 4 year and 2 week old Pomchi (Pomeranian x Chihuahua — as per her microchip and vet records). While that’s her official breed, we think she looks like a teeny tiny Kelpie with the cutest, sassiest little attitude!
Weighing a whopping 2.7kgs (told ya she’s teeny tiny!), Halo may be pocket-sized, but her personality is anything but small.
Halo came into care due to a breeder downsizing. All vet work has been completed, and she is now ready to find a home where she will be adored.
🐶 Training & House Habits
Halo is a really good girl when it comes to toileting — she happily goes outside and confidently uses a doggy door.
She is not a fan of crates at all. Sleeping in a crate? Nope, not happening. Small confined spaces just aren’t for her. However, she rides beautifully in a car seat and travels very well.
She is currently working on her basic obedience (recall, sit, stay) and is eager to learn. Halo genuinely wants to please and make her humans happy.
⚡ Energy & Personality
Halo is the perfect mix of snuggle bug and pocket rocket.
She loves spending her days curled up near you — on your lap, beside you on the couch, or simply wherever you are. At night, she happily sleeps in bed with her humans (preferably on them). During the day, she rotates between your lap and a comfy cushion on the floor — though she has access to the lounge, she rarely chooses it over being close to you.
But when excitement kicks in… watch out!
Meal times.
Bed time.
You coming home.
All of these trigger pogo-stick jumps, spins in circles, and the fastest zoomies in the world. She absolutely loves squeaky toys (balls are not nearly as exciting) and enjoys playing with fluffy toys and other small dogs.
She’s generally a quiet girl — you’ll mostly hear from her when she’s super excited or sees something outside. At night she is kept indoors so she’s not tempted to bark at passing movements.
🐾 Socialisation & Compatibility
Halo is dog friendly and has lived with multiple dogs of varying ages, sizes and breeds. She particularly enjoys other small dogs — sometimes cuddling up together, sometimes bouncing around for playtime.
She can be a little nervous with new dogs and isn’t a fan of being rushed. If unfamiliar dogs come into her home for visits, she may feel unsure and can be a bit snappy. She prefers consistency and the same resident dog friends rather than lots of new visitors. Once she’s comfortable and settled, she does beautifully.
She would happily live with another small breed dog, but could also thrive as an only dog soaking up all the love. She has been known to guard her couch spot occasionally, but after being told “No” by her foster mum, she has had no further issues.
Halo is fine with children but would prefer older kids, as being picked up can make her uncomfortable. She would suit a multi-person household where there is plenty of companionship and affection.
Cats and other small animals are untested.
💖 Her Sweet Little Quirks
• She can easily jump onto the lounge — yet will stand there grinning at you until you pick her up.
• When you come home, she runs in circles, jumps into the air and zooms until her excitement is done.
• Her biggest motivation in life? Being told she is “the bestest girl in the whole world.” Praise absolutely melts her.
🏡 The Home She’s Hoping For
Halo enjoys short walks (remember — very little legs!) and walks nicely on lead. She doesn’t require grooming. More than anything, she just wants love, reassurance, and to be included in your everyday life.
She is a tiny girl with a soft heart, playful spark, and so much affection to give.
If you’re looking for a loyal little shadow who will warm your lap, celebrate your return home like you’ve been gone for years, and fill your house with cuddles and happy zoomies — Halo might just be your perfect match. 🐾💕

Approved applicants will be contacted to arrange a time for a meet & greet via email.
