Meet Twiggy – your new shadow with a silver muzzle 💕
Twiggy is an 11-year-old lady who may be a senior on paper, but don’t let that fool you — she still has plenty of zest for life and a big personality to match. She loves being close to her people and will happily remind you when she thinks it’s time for pats or attention (which is most of the time).
Twiggy enjoys the company of other dogs, but due to being quite sore in her old age, she won’t tolerate rough or bouncy behaviour. She would be best suited to a home with a dog who will respect her personal space.
We’ve recently discovered that Twiggy has likely been living with hip dysplasia her whole life, which has led to significant arthritis and ongoing pain. She has just started Cartrophen injections to help manage her condition and keep her comfortable. Because of this, Twiggy will be looking for a home that can provide her with a soft bed, a quiet environment, and ongoing veterinary care to support her mobility and comfort.
Due to her limited mobility, a single level home will suit her best.
