About Spud
Meet Spud, the lovable couch potato who is looking for his perfect match! He adores his human companions and delights in pats and belly rubs.
Spud is best suited to being the only pet in the home, and preferably a home without children due to his size and strength.
Spud knows some basic commands and is eager to please, especially if treats are involved. He has a hearty love for food and enrichment toys like Kongs, food puzzles, and lick mats are his idea of a good time. These activities keep his mind engaged and add a little fun to his day.
Spud will do best with an experienced owner who can guide him and encourage good manners. He can be a bit strong on the lead, so someone who is confident and patient will be perfect for him. Most importantly, he will need time to decompress and adjust to his new environment after shelter life.
Medical notes
Spuds weight will need to be maintained. If he becomes overweight, he will present as a brachycephalic breed and struggle in extreme heat.
