Bruce

Bruce is a beautiful young man who was left on a strangers doorstep tied to the fly screen, covered in fleas and terribly matted. No note, no history, just tied to the door. He's had a clip and been flea treated, sterilized, vaccinated, wormed and is now fighting fit and ready to find his forever home. This is one great dog. Here are some of his features:
• he is great with other dogs and likes meeting new fury friends at the dog park. • he is playful with other dogs and loves a good game of chasey. • he is excellent "off leash" meaning you can let him off his lead and he will keep an eye on where you are and come when called. • he is an active dog that loves to run. He is the type of dog you can take for a bush walk or down the beach, let off leash and he will run around for hours. • he is well behaved inside and is not prone to barking, nor does he destroy the furniture. • he has a low shedding coat suitable for people with allergies. • he is super affectionate and adores people. He loves his cuddles and will stay in your lap for hours. • bruce appears to be toilet trained as there have not been any accidents inside the house. He happily uses the dog door to take himself outside to toilet. Bruce is looking for the following in his new home:
• to be allowed to live as an inside dog and included in family outings and adventures. Humans that want a smoochy dog that is allowed up on the furniture would be a good match. • it would be great if bruce’s new owners were home quite a bit as he needs loads of attention. • taken to the grooming salon every 8 weeks for the rest of his life for a clip. These dogs end up in all sorts of pain and discomfort is not clipped and brushed regularly. • bruce will need daily exercise of at least 40min as he is a very active boy. Owners that have the confidence to let him “off leash” so he can have a good run and play would suit him best. Bruce is a small miniature poodle and weights 6. 4kg. He is a sweet and gentle boy that deserves an owner that will cherish him. He would be best suited to an adult only home or one where the children are adults. Bruce would be ok in a two dog home but would probably prefer to be the only dog as he likes to be the centre of attention. If you are looking for a close and constant companion, bruce is your man.
